Love, Love, Love Tickets
Mike Bartlett’s Love, Love, Love is a dark comedy that tells the story of a London couple (Amy Ryan and Richard Armitage) as they age from idealistic youth at the height of Beatlemania to middle-class comfort in a modern London suburb.
The Story of Love, Love, Love
Love, Love, Love tells the story of Kenneth and Sandra, English Baby Boomers who meet in 1967 with a shared passion for social revolt and change. In the play’s second act, which takes place in 1990, the couple has aged into their early 40s with two children (Zoe Kazan and Ben Rosenfield) and all the trappings of middle-class domesticity. The final act takes place in 2011.
The themes of Love, Love, Love, a production of the Roundabout Theater Company, include relationships, aging, youth and old age, the crises of midlife, politics, idealism and hypocrisy, selfishness, and others (the title, taken from the refrain of the Beatles’ “All You Need is Love,” is clearly meant to be ironic).
The Cast and Crew
