The Babylon Line Tickets

Richard Greenberg’s The Babylon Line tells the story of an adult-ed creative writing class in Levittown, New York in 1967. The play takes place during the class’s first night, and explores the lives of the teacher, named Aaron Port (played by How I Met Your Mother star Josh Radnor), and students – most of whom only took the class because it was the only one with any open seats. One student, a Long Island housewife seeking connection through writing, forms a special bond with Aaron. The play is named for the Long Island Rail’s Babylon line, which Aaron takes from his home in Greenwich Village to his class.
